  1. Hi Michel,

Hope this finds you doing well. I just wanted to give you some thoughts on my bridal portrait experience. I am so glad that I decided to do it. It was such an amazing experience and I was able to learn a lot about how my dress fit and hair and makeup would look as well for the big day. In the beginning I was a little hesitant about the bridal shoot because of the little extra expense and added travel time coming from Atlanta to Charleston for an additional weekend. In the end it was worth it. By doing the bridal shoot I had my hair and makeup done, not just for the portrait, but to see what the end result would be for the wedding day. In doing this I was able to change my mind if I needed or make any corrections beforehand. It was also nice to see how my dress would fit and feel for the wedding. But most importantly I was able to get some incredible shoots that would not have been possible to get had I not done the bridal shoot. It was so much fun to get so many pictures in different locations around the downtown area. The one I choose for my portrait was also displayed at the wedding, so everyone could see. Still to this day, I receive compliments on what an amazing portrait it is. It is so nice to have a nice, high quality portrait that will last for years and years to come. I would also encourage girls to do this portrait session because the day of the wedding, things will be so hectic that she won’t have time to do many solo shots.

As I said before, I was hesitant to do the shoot due to the expense and I’m not someone who really thought I would enjoy having a portrait of just myself:) I can’t tell you how happy I am I decided to do it. The portrait looks fantastic and it’s a constant reminder of our wonderful wedding experience!

    All my best,
    Amy Jone

  2. I would like some suggestions regarding locations for bridal portraits. She prefers inside shots. Perhaps there are some churches or historic buildings that you have chosen in the past. Thanks for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Dr Randolph Carlson

    1. Randy,

I would recommend the Custom House, Rainbow Row, has for churches most of them keep there door closed so you have to communicate with one.

      Good Luck,

      Michel
