I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the chance to photograph weddings in the US and abroad, but capturing a wedding on a boat is truly special. I recently had the honor of photographing a wedding on the Charleston Harbor Tours & Cruises, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity provided by my clients. As we sailed around Charleston, we could take in stunning city views from the water, including the South Carolina Aquarium, the battery with its historic homes, and the beautiful blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds. The ceremony took place against the backdrop of the breathtaking Ravenel Bridge, with guests and family members looking on. While I always strive to be as unobtrusive as possible, I had to capture the scene from a particular angle, so I pulled out one of my trusty cameras and used a fisheye lens to capture one of the bridesmaids on the boat with Charleston's iconic skyline in the background. This final image is unique and truly captures the essence of the wedding day. As a wedding photographer, I love being able to create amazing, one-of-a-kind photos for my clients.
