I love Hilton Head, even better photographing a wedding at the beautiful Palmetto Dunes Resort, for Chelsea & Nick.
Here in the brides’ words is how this became such an amazing day.
“A southern Carolina girl and a Detroiter in MI how could this ever work out? If it wasn’t for our best friends introducing us through a last minute trip to myrtle beach Nick and I wouldn’t be where we are at today, which is MARRIED! Four months after the beach trip Nick proposed to me and after I stuttered yes out of unbelief I packed up my bags and moved to Michigan. It was hard and still is being away from my life long friends and family but it is worth being here in Michigan to be with Nick.
Within two years of our engagement, I started looking for vendors (in the Carolinas of course) which were very stressful, considering I was planning my wedding 12 hours away from me. After a few weeks of searching for the perfect location to have a beach wedding I stumbled upon Palmetto Dunes Resort. I decided to email the event coordinator for some information and she emailed me back describing the Dune’s House which is exactly what I had pictured. The perfect spot for a casual beach wedding and a reception on a patio by the ocean. On the weekend I visited Hilton Head to check out the Dune’s House, I also went to a bridal expo in Hilton Head and stopped at Michel’s booth. His personality, professionalism, and samples of his work hooked me. I’m so glad I did because Michel helped me organize my wedding day so that it would be flawless and he also came back to us a little over a month after the wedding with all of our pictures! Everyone, including Nick and I, is thrilled with the results!
All of our catering was in house by Palmetto Dunes and was spectacular. The food was first class and the staff was the same caliber. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was (especially the shrimp jambalaya) and how beautiful the location was.”
