Nothing could of turned out better then this new wedding that I am posting today for Karly & Sam, it was a Sunday afternoon and the rain had just started, I had 2 hours prior to the ceremony to photograph the groom and the bride, God was there on that day, and as soon as I started with the guys, the rain stopped. The wedding could of turned out any better, and I am so very happy for both of them that I was there to capture this amazing wedding…!As Always Enjoy…!
Here in Karly words are there story:
We met at the hospital when our good friend, Ashley was having a baby. Ashley was a good friend of both of ours and we both went to visit her when her daughter Kennedy was born. Her husband, Joey called Sam and told him some of Ashley’s single girlfriends were coming up to the hotel, so that is why Sam came. We met briefly and talked a few days later. We had our first date at a local Mexican restaurant and hit it off right away. We dated for about 4 years before the proposal. The proposal took place New Year‘s Eve. Sam told his closest friends, so they would be there to see him pop the question. There were four couples and we were all hanging out. At exactly 12 midnight Sam made a “Toast” and popped the question. I (Karly) was shocked! It was totally unexpected!
We live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Karly is a fourth grade teacher and is working on her Master’s degree and Sam is a hotel manager. We love traveling to Charleston and taking long weekends to explore different areas. We knew we wanted a beach wedding and as soon as we saw Isle of Palms we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. We love the Wild Dunes Resort and think it is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in South Carolina. Our theme for the wedding was vintage glam. The colors were blush pink, champagne and ivory. The ceremony took place on the beach before sunset and was absolutely perfect!
